The Apocalypse in 9/8
666 is no longer alone,
He's getting out the marrow in your back bone,
And the seven trumpets blowing sweet rock and roll,
Gonna blow right down inside your soul.
Pythagoras with the looking glass reflects the full moon,
In blood, he's writing the lyrics of a brand new tune.
-Genesis
The quote above is from Genesis' 23 minute epic, Supper's Ready, from 1972, about the end of the world. The passage above is from the 6th of 7 parts, called The Apocalypse in 9/8, because as a time signature, it's insane.
The reason I mention this; the NY Rangers are in the final for the first time since 1994. 1994 was when I got married. The Rangers won the Stanley Cup for the first time in 54 years. And I lost.
I've been wrong before, but I would stock up on bottled water, learn to hunt and fish, buy firearms and antibiotics and porn mags and learn how to throw knives, and forsake all religion. The end is nigh and it's going to suck balls.
If the Kings don't beat the Rangers, we are all buggered.
And as always, being buggered will be unpleasant.
