Like an Ass

Well, I rented a kayak today on the Indian River and wound my way down into long island sound. It was awesome. It was also low tide, which meant that there were sand bars (more like mud bars) everywhere. I was suitably freaked out when I saw silhouettes walking on water, but got closer and saw that it was low tide and that people were walking out into the middle of Clinton Harbor. It was amazing, but like an ass, I had left my phone in the car, so no pictures. Next time I will be sure to have it with me.

After a two and a half hour paddle, I asked the folks at Indian River Marina if they knew a good place for seafood. They directed me to Lenny and Joe's and I had some delicious whole bodied fried clams. Then I drove the 45 minute ride home. It was a great day on the water.
